    Default Kansas 2016

We had a good trip despite the unseasonable warm weather. Although not huge by Kansas standards I killed my best buck to date.

What are they putting in those feeders besides corn? Any protein pellets?

Straight corn. There is so much agriculture they usually don't start feeding the deer until October or so. This was my fourth trip and the deer their are impressive to say the least. Most locals won't shoot anything less than 160" or so.

Them that don't know him won't like him, and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him

He ain't wrong, he's just different, and his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right

Stand set up is in a bottom with cedars. The other picture, with the stand in the background was another piece of property that turned out to be a bust.
