I've got a good crop of wheat growing, ended up discing up more dirt right before that last rain as well. Haven't seen a large amount of doves, normal amount of pigeons.

The ones we killed that day could have played the glutton in the movie "Seven"

Our fields are not holding any birds right now. There is plenty of food for them, just no birds. Maybe we will see some move in if we can get some rain and cold weather over the next couple of weeks.

We had a decent shoot yesterday morning. It was fun and the birds were sporty

We shot flowers, corn and drilled wheat yesterday. Not a bird in the sky til 4pm. I limited by 4:30. I'd guess I saw 500-600 birds.

We were seeing a lot the tail end of last week, when scouting for ducks. Seems like a good number have pushed this way.

The power lines were sagging Sunday down the road from my house. I'm hoping they make their way over to the club. Saw a bunch of new ducks and geese sitting on a pond this morning on the way to the office.

Checked one of our fields Sunday and it was loaded up pretty good. Can't hunt it until tomorrow so I'm hoping they stuck around.
