Shot a sookie a couple weeks ago and picked her up from hickory hills on Tuesday...got way more stew meat than I asked for so I got creative tonight and tried a stew out. Need it about 40 degrees cooler and this will be killer.

Did you get a ham?
Looks good, well, I'd have to click on the picture, so tedious. So I'm just using my imagination.
Kinda hard to give a recipe out on it, I throw it together and add to taste, brown meat add tomatoes, tomatoe paste, black beans, chili beans, onions and bell pepper. Season with the typical chili powder, oregano, salt, pepper and a little brown sugar, bay leaves, garlic salt, all to taste of course. I'm sure I'm missing something in there, if I think of it I'll add it.

I'm a big fan of stew meat in my deer chili. I will be doing that for the opening weekend in AR in a couple weeks..
This was simple and prep to table was under 2 hrs. let the stew simmer for about an hr and half.
paprika, thyme, onion powder, garlic salt, cayenne pepper, oregano + flour dredged and seared for two minutes before sautéing the vegetables, chopped garlic, beef broth and red wine w/ couple bay leaves.
Looks good.
I like mine with corn bread.
