The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

Harv, evidently these Sentinelese heard about how successful the Natives around here were with the negotiating process and have decided to go full Big Stick on the rest of the world.

I always thought that if the Commanche lived here instead of the Cherokee, the Europeans would never have gotten a foothold...

I'd like to think I would have been one of the John Smith's of that time.
Do i think its wrong what the Europeans did to the Native Americans? Absolutely.
Am i going to bitch and moan? No.
Do i think we should let them do as they please?
    Within reason, absolutely.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

The true story of John Smith is not an enviable one. Disney paints a pretty picture but that isn't the real deal of who JS was or who "Pocahontus" was. All fairy tale BS.

I think that with all the surveillance equipment we have that someone hasn't zoomed in on them- if we can tell whether a coin is heads or tails from a satellite then we can monitor Kunta Kentay and get a population head count I guess Hollywood will make a movie on them now.

Why would we care how many of them there are?

I certainly dont give a rats ass and neither would anyone I know but the story stated we have no idea as to how many there are- 20-60? If we wanted to know more we would- but some boring jackoff govt employee will zoom in and check them out as soon as he hears about this- he will be able to tell us any of them are circumcized-incase that matters to anyone as well- or if they only have 4 toes

I would pay good money to go over there and fuck with their heads with a body armour suit and a flamethrower- they would be calling God of FIRE or something and wanting their women to wash my feet
