I know some on here have to know something about them. Everyone tells me there a lot cheaper that the conventional style house. Some one tell me about them and where to start.
And if this is not in the right place I apologize and please move it.

This is the last place I go for anything except questions about my truck and even then, my questions are directed solely at KRT. If I ask anything else, I'm either making fun of someone or I'm making fun of someone. The rest of these knowitalls really know very little and all you'll get is BS like the second post. So, anywhere but here.
I live in one, PM specific questions and I will answer. I built my own excluding finishing the concrete and drywall.
I use that at least once a week at work! Hahahahaha
Living the dream....
Got a buddy that is building one now at Low Falls. Planning to go by and see it this weekend. I think he started out with a 50 x 30.

it wouldn't be a pole building but check out SIP's (Structural Insulated Panels).
We built a big shop/house for my old boss man using these. they can be a little aggravating to pull wires through but offer great insulation.
Obviously you wouldn't have to use the panels on the roof if you didn't want to. bonus room trussed would be my choice.
I don't remember right off how it compared cost wise to conventional stick framing. I am thinking it is less. ( could be wrong though) However, if it is more upfront they would save money in the long run due to energy saving
