    Default Low country food plots

Instead of getting into a club decided to sink money into some pieces of family land around Denmark. Looking to plant food plots to hunt over during the season. What do you plant and when, to have huntable plots during the season?

Also, LIME & FERTILIZE per soil test.
This is more important as far as deer preference than what you actually plant in my experience... We have planted straight feed wheat on well prepped ground and murdered many a deer in those patches.

There is a sticky thread at the top of the habitat forum with a link to a guide with everything you need to know.

Soil samples first, if you do them now, you will have time to lime the area you intend on planting and benefit from the lime this upcoming year.

Oats/wheat/clover mix is hard to beat
