Damn, I've got to start cooking some doves! Looked in the freezer the other day while putting up the flounder and it looked like I had 6 sacks of them! Anywhere from 15 to 30 a bag!

A 17 inch flounder fed your family?

How many quail do you cook at a time? A couple?

I wish Cottontampon had been with me and my buddy when we stuck 226 one night in Swansboro, NC , back before they had a limit on them.

the gigging up there is leaps and bounds better than SC. NC coast is so overlooked for an outdoor perspective
Seeing these soulless vanilla ice lookin Yankees on a bassboat is worse than watching a woman get her implants taken out. It's just wrong. Get back in your Lund and go back to infisherman.

I've had days like that with trout.

I ran the boat as close as I could get to Boulineaus during high tide then walked to buy more grub bodies.

This was of course, before they put the landing in at 53rd.

Never heard of a cell phone or a digital camera when this happened.
We cleaned them until we were sick of them and then took them around to relatives houses and gave them away. Freezers were filled
Gigged a bank along the ICW, fall time and crystal clear water. They were just laying every where. Never saw anything like it. Inlet 1/4 mile or so away.

Coastal, they are still there in June Like poking trash on Half way creek. But damn its getting harder to stomach/justify a deep dive with deco for a flounder even if they are 4-8lbs.

Anybody hit the 20" mark yet? I've caught a gang of em but the biggest has been 19". I have seen a couple of em that others have caught though. I'm ready for that banner day like I have had in previous years with four and five 20" plus!

This thread is kind of like herpes. It goes away and everybody forgets about it. Then, when you least expect it, it pops back up.
