    I'm looking for my first wild bird. My dog has done the flushing but I keep missing.

    My puppy is DOG tired. Three straight days of pothole ducks in the morning and afternoon pheasant walks. We all took a beating.

    The sight of those ditch chickens bring back some great memories of Montana waterfowl / upland hunts. Man those were great times.

    I hear that! My dad just sent me a picture of a limit of wood ducks and pheasants from a lil creek that is lined with Russian olives out back of his house. I'm having some serious withdrawal symptoms with everyone and their brother whacking ducks out west.
