does anyone know how to calculate the btu's required to cool a cooler - I have built a deer cooler that is 6 ft x 7 ft x 8 ft tall (all inside measurements) the walls are 8 inch block filled w/ perlite and also has 2 inches of foam insulation board all the way around - the top has 14 inches of roll insulation - it sits on a concrete pad - I want to cool it 38 deg to 42 deg to hang deer in - I had a unit but was told it was too small and would not put out enought btu. I need to know the required btu a unit needs to put out to cool it.
thanks for any help
