I have the opportunity to get a Lil Tex Traeger Grill at a really good price. Does anyone on here use one and how do you like it?

Thanks, my buddy from work has had one and wants to sell because he never uses it. I can pick it up for 300 just wasn't sure.
Buy it

Thanks for the help. I'm probably going to try it out tomorrow.
I've got an Elite Texas Traeger something. I feel like it's cheating, and honestly I don't use it much. Some one on here wanted it if I was going to sell it, but I lost my pm's. If you really want to make it work buy the thermostat thingy. And that booger will smoke, when they mention only throwing in a couple pellets to light it, listen to them. I poured a good handful in and smoked out my neighbors. It is cool and easy, but don't expect to grill on it. The last couple of times I used mine as a warmer device. I'd take everything off the other grills, cut it on low, and throw it on a dish inside the thing. Don't leave the pellets outside either, store them indoors. If you get too much moisture they'll break down and look like sawdust.
Don't lie HS, you intentionally wanted to ruin your neighbor's afternoon
cut\'em
My cuz has a traeger and likes it. His advice to me when I got my yoder was to use quality pellets.

I have one and grill on high setting all the time. Fast cook or soke baby backs six to eight hours for the best ribs ever
Big pellet smoker fan. I have a Louisiana Grill County Smoker (similar to Traeger, just made out of thicker materials and a little different firebox/auger system) that has produced some great food. Everything from boston butts and ribs to fish to veggies to pizza.
The pellets do make a big difference. BBQr's Delight and Cookinpellets.com both have been good for me. You can catch them online here and there with free shipping and I snag a bunch. Big difference over the traeger pellets as the others are 100% hardwood (no BS filler or flavoring).
am I the only one that has problems with cooking meat over rat pellets?
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.
