Default Elk Loin and Caribou Loin

Fella I work with gave me one of each today....never had either.

I think I know what I want to do with both of them, but am curious to hear your suggestions.

    Post away.

You would. Or either stick them in the freezer for four to five years, and then bring them over in a plastic bag with three natty cans, one Busch Light can, and one bottle of Bud L that somebody left in your freezer...

Why don't you save them for the cookoff? A rib and wild game theme...

Or you can show up at the election night or New Years party, and I'll add them to the plethora of stuff killed by bullets and shot. I'm gonna get jiggy with it this year.

Elk loin is as good as it gets. I love venison loin, but elk is even less gamey. Prepare and grill it like you would a beef loin.

lightly grill the elk with salt and serve at 140, make a stew from Santa's buddy... it CAN be tough but has great flavor.

I recently fell into both plus some goat. The goat was only good because I knew how far that fucker fell and how many man hours it took to extricate it. No one else enjoyed it.
