where are the turkeys at????????

i been hunting 3 to 4 different tracks of land and have yelded, 0 turkeys, 0 gobbles, 0 tracks, 0 sightings... i have tryed everything i possibly know how to do and nothing happen, but in deer season turkeys were every where, so what the fuck? where could they have gone? why cant i get atleast one to gobble? is there anything else i could do to make one gobble? i tryed everything from owl,crow calls, to yelping some, cutting and everything inbetween and nothing works... MIght as well bait these tracts of land and make them sanctuaries for the remainder of the season.

If you aren't seeing any other sign of turkeys on the place I wouldn't expect to hear them either. Turkeys have different patterns during the spring than they do any other time of year. Seeing them in the fall won't necessarily relate to a good place to hunt in the spring. With the rains that just came through in the last couple days get back out there and look for fresh tracks or any other turkey sign for that matter. If you truely don't find any sign of turkeys on the property you're best bet is to find another place to hunt.

Quack, MC is right. I have a place near Sumter where I deer hunt, and see turkeys on almost every trip. I do not even turkey hunt there because there is no use. They have completely different patterns. Just my 2 cents.
