I need someone who knows these phones like a damn book.

I know these phones pretty damn good but I'm stumped.

I bought the GF an iPhone 4. She already has an iTunes for her iPad and iPod. Here is the problem. With the new iOS you have the iMessage which can be sent between iPhones. Well hers is sending from her email address and not her telephone number. I've called Verizon... Nothing. I've called Apple and buh'leeve it or not... Nothing. Ive googled the shit out of this on the interweb and there are several fixes however, none of them seem to be the option.

Setting>Messages>(iMessage-on)>Recieve At> and mine has 2 available places. 1. Email 2. Phone, for some reason her's does not have an option for phone just email. And NOBODY can seem to tell me why. Any of you have any idea?

You need to register it. Once you do, it will give you two options...

It's the phones itself. It's all been confirmed and activated. Well iTunes says so anyways.
