Please explain what you mean by "healthy protein".
Are you saying that certain proteins are more healthy than others?
Would you also say the same thing about fats? For instance, would you say that the fat from an avocado is better or worse or the same as the fat from a pig?
What's your position on bread, rice, sugar and potatoes.
Muscle Pharm Assault pre workout (not as extreme as many Pre WO's are... but ingredients aren't as bad for you as most of them are), Optimum Nutrition 100%whey protein shake post workout 0-30 mins after training(chocolate malt one scoop with 8-10 ounces of water). Cut out all soft drinks and mix in some Optimun Nitrition Amino Energy drinks couple times a day. Amino Energy is good stuff. I usually mix one first thing in the m morning and mid afternoon. Good clean energy and not all jittery feeling and ingredients are good stuff for repair, energy, and focus. Drink lots of water during day and maybe cut back on beer a tad cause none of us want to quit it all together (least I'm not willing to EVER.) PROTEIN PROTEIN PROTEIN.....chicken, tuna, whey, fish, etc. Diet is where it all starts...eat lots of food, but good clean food.
I dont post alot but this is something I know a lil about. Try Isopure protein shake from vitamin world will help with post workout. Just get used to taste
Yes avacado fat is better than pig fat. Carbs from a sweet tater are better than carbs from a white potato.

The Admiral has spoken.
A more complete protein (ie one that contains more of the essential amino acids) and a protein that isn't packaged with other things like saturated fat, lectins etc etc is what is commonly referred to as a healthy protein. All proteins are not created equal therefore some are obviously more healthy than others.

Muscle Pharm combat protein!
This is probably the best out. Well works best for me. One scoop does me good compared to two scoops of the other.
Jack 3d has been reformulated, the new version sucks ass.
As far as post workout, 100% Gold Standard is a good Protein. Ive been using it for about a year now. That's post. I usually drink a shake in the mornings and I use ANS Power Maxx for those shakes. Both proteins believe it or not taste good.
But just find what you like and run with it.
And listen to fish if you want to go the "all food" route.
Diet is key to good energy.
For the past 2.5 months my diet is clean.
Fish, Chicken, Greens, Almonds, Sweet potatoes, Asparagus, Broccoli, ect.
You don't need to spend 60 bucks on a pre workout. Go to CVS buy a container of caffeine pills (200 mg each) for 6 bucks. Go buy a vitamin b complex, and a BCAA supplement. Pop a caffeine pill, make a fruit smoothie, take vitamin B complex and have some motivation.
