    So i have had this stand here for about 10 years. Last season the timber company came in and clearcut both sides of the hardwood ridge. I was pissed because they took damn near all season so i didnt get to hunt this stand at all. This morning is the first time i have sat this stand since the cutting. Had to go back and have an appoligetic prayer because i think they did me a favor and im sitting on a honey hole. Havent seen any deer yet the morning but the turkeys were going nuts when the sun broke over the ridge this morning.

    Hoping this storm coming in has them moving this evening. I put a friend on a good stand in a hardwood bottom, I'm hoping he kill his first deer tonight.

    I Bowhunted in my backyard today just to see what was back there. Saw 2 does, 2 button bucks, 2 cowhorns and young 6 point as well as my yellow lab.
