I wasn't going to say anything...

IF he was talking about the AGM stuff that R&T came with from the factory, he's way off.

IF he's talking about Trojan stuff, he's even farther off.

    I disregard stupid comments.

just what i was told about batteries. i only had my elec RUF n TUF for 6 months and it was a big POS!!!!!!! stayed in shop must of the time.

Turbo--- no offense if you worked for them. but do a search on the web and everyone has had problems with the RUF n TUF. If you were a engineer for them, don't think i would be proud of that.

why is said company not around anymore?

First of all, I had nothing to do with the original design of the 4x4 R/T. I was hired for the ground up design of a "hybrid" vehicle to be manufactured in the US, 100%.

Secondly, some people are incapable of owning EVs. It takes some education for most folks to make the transition from gas powered bikes/atvs to electric vehicles. There are some things you just can't do with EVs. You can see 2th's post above to find proof in that. He drives his stuff like he stole it and has had zero issues. He also understands that it's not a boat, there's a difference between the throttle and brake pedal, and that normal wear and tear is not the manufacturer's fault.

Lastly, I am very proud of every product that I have ever had a hand in designing. This includes my work at R/T. My design work > chinese sourced product, every-single-time.

The throttle/brake comment was alluding to the fact that stupid people burn motors and controllers up because they think they have to keep a buggy stationary on a hill with the throttle rather than the brakes.

You, however, just never stop rolling out. If somebody wants to have a conversation with you while you're on that buggy, I suggest that they either ride with you and hold on tight or find another mode of transportation that can keep up with you.
