    You know things are screwed with the USA when you order a Pawleys Island Hammock and the damned thing arrives with a Made in China sticker on it...

    jab, i think there is a hammock factory that still operates down there. i thougt the were called the "pawleys island hammosk factory", but not sure. there are a number of knockoffs from the original.

    V, wanted one for her birthday so I tole her all about the South Carolina hand made masterpieces from PI... I was a bit surprised to see the bright red Made in China tag to say the least. Of course, it seems to be of good quality, well crafted, and sadly better than anything Georgetown County could produce in 2007...
