best post i have read in a while.

this part was BS, but the rest was SPOT-ON.

Make me their PR person and I'd have these three sound less lofty, less angry, and less political
I bet you a million dollars you would fail.

but anyway, it seems a tough pill to swallow for "them" but i agree that it ain't worth the hassle to hunt public any more. I also agree that a lot of our efforts FOR the DNR and pressure issues and AGAINST development. Its all we can do. I am not the type to sit idly by. I wouldn't be able to look my kids in the eye when they get old enough to hunt without having given extra effort to save the sport.

Send money to the FF. if not money, then time.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

That just may be the best post I have ever seen on SCDucks...at least since we had the AUTSF!

Seriously GREAT post Tuffy!!!
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.

You ALMOST had me Tuffy right up to the end when you blew it ALLLL to Hell...

from Tuffy

and am honestly proud to "know" JAB, NAB, and DT
I can see someone claiming pride in knowing Ole DT-- but JAB?? and NAB?!?!?!?!?! WTF are you thinking boy??

man this thread has covered some ground.

GREAT POST Tuffy- and much like private ducks i know some private landowners getting some truly AWESOME old time wild quail numbers on their property but like JAB's place it requires work and sacrifice. Still- its nice to know they can still be found.

Well said Tuff.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
