1MR Is awesome! Gets in you pretty quick and last thru your entire workout! Pretty bad crash afterwards though. BSN Cell Mass is a pretty good post-workout with BSN Syntha 6 right after that.

Get a couple of good partners that will push you over the edge. Its better than any supplement.

I bet you $50 bucks that 90% of people that lift weights are over-working their arms.

That wasn't a stab at you, just sayin. You would be surprised how much your arms grow by not isolating them.

I agree. Along with their chest.

The thing is though not isolating them at all is a different kind of wrong. Bicep/tricep, quad/hamstring. If you leave one side underdeveloped, there is an injury problem in your future. It could come on the basketball court or pushing a truck out of the mud. The weaker tendons and muscles will fail you. IMO and from personal experience.

Very true, I just believe that doing exercises like dips, pull ups, close grip bench etc are what adds mass.

    True.

I use dips and close grip benchpress for triceps.

Pullups are also done as part of my back and biceps training along with 3 different types of curls.

Most of the dudes I know who are successfully adding mass are doing so with multiple sets of DIFFERENT excercises.

Curls allow me to hit my biceps in ways that don't aggravate currently sore elbows and wrists.

If you can get big biceps without doing curls of any type then more power to you. My old, weak arse needs 'em.

What is a good pre-workout supplement that gets in your system fast in less than thirty minutes? The reason I ask is I get up at 0500 in the morning and workout and don't have thirty minutes to wait for it to kick in.

Not trying to be a dick, but why would you need a pre-workout if you are working out first thing in the morning? Your energy level is going to be tops right then.

Maybe have a cup of coffee brewing for when you wake up....stretch for 5mins and have at the rockpile.

I like pre-w/o's when I'm having to lift after a 13hr shift or when the diet isn't providing the energy I need for the gym.

Just looking for something to give me a jump start, usually half asleep until the middle of the workout.

They all take around 20-30 minutes to take full effect, but you usually start feeling it in about 15 minutes.

Cellucor C4 is my favorite, a close 2nd is Jack3d, by USP Labs.
