    Default paleo sugar substitute

Available at Whole Foods, Earth Fare, Trader Joe's, etc...

Organic Coconut Sugar. Name brand is Madhava. There are probably others. I can't vouch for them, but this brand is excellent.

The paleo pimp has given it the thumbs up. Its damn good stuff too.

How does it measure vs. the real stuff? I've got the family comming over tomorrow night and I'm trying to come up with some dessert options.

All you need is a body built for discipline and a mind that can justify so much apparent self-abuse.

I'd tell you based on tasting it off a spoon that it would be a 1 to 1 swap out ratio with cane sugan.

What is the glycemic index on it?

Better, worse, same as honey or bananas?

The paleo pimp, as I refer to him, is a certified paleo nutritionist. He's hardcore about the diet and CrossFit. He's the one that turned us onto it.

But I'll try to get some more information on it.

Tin Roger. Headed to Robb Wolf's site now to do some searchin'. Just because it comes from a coconut don't mean it won't fuck up your pancreas.
