Yes they have been pouring out the corn and wheat in there to keep everyone out. It is hard enough to find spots in the swamp to hunt without these fools screwing it up for everyone else. I have some mixed feelings about this one. I have up to now only hunt public water and personally I have never baited any kind of game (with that being said). I don't think that it is fair that people with money are allowed to bait their land and the public are left shit out of luck. This is the typical "have and the have not" situation. So anyway my only point is that if the some public hunter did put a corn pile out then leave him the hell alone. As long as it doesn't get out of hand and he realizes that he may get caught for doing this well thats his risk. What would really piss me off is a person who hunts on his private club 'rats out' a public hunter for putting out corn. The state should do more for the public hunter and that applies for ducks, deer, or any other kind of game. I would be willing to pay more for a licence if this was the case.

Rice Craker - Baiting is baiting whether it is on public or private land - It is illegal and is stealing the resource from you and I. I think more should be done for the public hunter too......when they learn to make sacrifices and give to the resources what the private guy has been doing for years......what are you willing to give up?
