Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.
I've been to the last two classes in Cola. Pretty informative for the most part. A lot of basic info but I've learned some new stuff each time. Tonight's class is on planting/food plots. It's worthwile.

Damn good class tonight! I knew that low PH could have an effect on fertilizer uptake, but not to the extent they showed on the chart. With fertilizer prices through the roof a guy is pissing away money without checking his PH before fertilizing. Even more important now than ever to have that done.
I like the way they reinforced the usage of natural foods by deer and the role of food plots as merely being supplemental. A lot of people have it ass backwards.
