Wife has to ride this out solo up on the Strand....
She must be getting soft on me, Oregon coast girl born and raised and she's concerned about some wind and rain...as long as it keeps its track, Horry should fare well.

    keep turning right..please.

Looks like it's gonna split the uprights in NYC.

Fine by me, that place could use a good cleaning.

They haven't said much about a "surge" here in Charleston, however, the canal in my back yard is about 6" from pouring over. It might get 2' of water during a moon tide, now it's well over 5' at this point and steadily rising. Anybody else around here seeing this?

Like Mullins, nothing in Flotown but wind since that rain squal earlier today. A few trees down and one shed roof ripped off is all I know of as far as damage.

Some folks in Florence lost power.

To be more specific BG, the wind pushes water as it circulates. East side is pretty tough. Any storm of any significance will bring storm surge, i.e. that "wall" of water.
