I'm with KRT. Most likely a vacuum leak somewhere. Had same problem in my dodge, but it would only blow out the defrost vents all the time. Narrowed it to a vacuum leak, but never fixed it before I got rid of the truck.

KRT is correct. It's a vacuum leak. It's called "Wild Vents"
Take the truck to a shop and have them do a smoke test on the vacuum system. It could be a cracked hose or a bad check valve.
Look near your catalytic converter for a burned hose.
