I think I'm infected. When I pull up google, it's the generic heading and the copyright is from 2009. Then when I try to sign in to gmail, I get a security cert. alert. Also, when I try to pull up youtube, bing and several other major sites, I get errors saying that they're down or having problems. I ran a virus scan with Avira and it's currently running a hidden objects scan. Anyone ever had this issue before?

What does your system show as the current date? Bottom right corner where the clock is?

I checked that, the date is correct. I'm getting ready to try malwarebytes.

Awesome, I can get to the malwarebytes site, but when I try to download the software, it redirects me or won't display the page.

boot up in "Safe Mode with networking". download and run super anti spyware. also run malwarebytes.

if none of the above work, download rkill. run it (its old looking but it does its job). after that, run malwarebytes.
