Anyone got any software that can convert a .MOV file to something that will play on Windows Media Player?

yes I can convert any kind of file you want.

If changing the file extension will work then do that, but I know it WILL NOT work on MP.4 formats

If you want to email it, then it is

www.yousendit.com lets you send them for free up to a certain file size

renaming the file WILL work. It works on .mov movies that come from Panasonic and other video recorders...

use SUPER!!! renaming it is not the same. you arent actually converting if you rename. after just opening the "avi" file, it realizes the file is really a "mov" file and plays it as a mov.

SUPER will do what you need.

I tried to use super yesterday and super would not work

Its looks to be an apple file from an iphone and I couldnt get anything to convert it.

Ouick time wouldn't even play it on my system, VLC wouldn't either.

    Any other ideas?

I downloaded a version of Super yesterday and got it converted, but it's upside down now. And it has a huge image throughout the video saying that it was converted with a non-activated version. It's the only video I need to convert and I'm not paying $39 to activater Super for this one video. Any ideas?

You're definitely doing something wrong. SUPER is freeware so you never get charged to use it.
