    Default After Rain Hunt

Whats your experience with hunting in/after a steady rain? Thinking about slipping out into the woods after lunch.

they gotta eat, i have found that after a strong rain like it is now, once the sun comes out i see more turkeys out drying off than on a typical day.

oh yea, btw, i watched about 12 turkeys (5 big gobblers) strutt around down on the river a few days ago. hopefully we will find out about that property soon.

Rain, or shortly after, means turkeys in fields. The end.

Just like deer. They don't have a choice as to when they die. I have a choice as to when I choose to sacrifice my dry ass for a goat or spurred buzzard.
