thx for the replies and asshole comments. par for the course. I CAN sit still but usually not for long. there is a difference. I dont like to hunt turkeys like deer. nor do i like to just sit around when there is something that needs doing....

so, i like the first option and would actually consider a $200 seat. I only plan to buy ONE in my life. a dove stool wont work...nor would the bucket but its a good choice. In kansas, we are often walking all day. i need the chair to fit in my vest. actually, i dont even wear a vest, just carry a small over-the-shoulder type bag.

I will not be hunting out of a blind....

I have a couple of those webbed seats that sit about 4-5 inches off the ground, they also have a carry strap. You are welcome to borrow one if you want to. I'm in Columbia all the time with work so let me know.

how about a 14 dollar ground blind stool from dicks, the tri pod thingy, and if you sit on the correct way, your balls get to hang freely.
