I hate to paint with a broad brush but screw a pit bull and the owners that allow this to happen. I know that there are some good ones out there but having one that "tended to wander the streets" is unacceptable. Heck, I have the most docile Golden Retriever there is but I don't let her wander the streets.

sorry to hijack. I'll be brief.

Is it legal to "dispatch" one's own dog that the owner realizes is a hazard? Or your own dog that is old or sick? I know it's ethical and responsible. Is it a crime? I just read a chapter in the SC Code of Laws and I didn't see it mentioned as illegal. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Two attacks in less than a week here in NC. The little boy was our school custodians grandson. Luckily he survived.

It's the owners fault. Pit bulls were bred to be powerful biters and have strong will. Those two traits can be used for good or bad, it's all in how they are raised and trained. I've been around a lot of pit bulls in my time and I have never seen a mean one. All were playful and loving.

The 2 meanest dogs I have ever seen were a black lab and a liver spotted pointer. Those two dogs would kill a man if they could get to him. You could see the evil in their eyes. Both had to be put down.
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
