my boys are getting ONE for Christmas.

they arent in to music, but they like trivia/word/puzzle games.

where do i get em?

iTunes. You will have to download the iTunes program to your computer in order to put anything on the iPod. Go to the iTunes store and you can download games and the like. Be careful, though. There are apps for iPad which won't work for iPod, so make sure you are in the iPod section.

I got my kids ipods also, jailbroken- 32gb- the apps are COOL- keeps em busy- Target had em on sale black Friday- bite the bullet and go to Walmart!
the 4th generation has facetime- cameras

I got about 6,000 songs, plenty of gangsta, hip, rap let me know if your boys want some of it!

2th, You can keep a look out and a bunch of the games are free downloads from itunes. Some you have to pay for .99-4.99.

decent apps you pay for-
I sprung for about 50 of 'em- you can put them on up to 5 apple products, ipod, iphone-ipad etc.. from the master computer

football, board games, soccer, wheel of fortune, it is a endless moneypit

my kid can sing some serious Classical ROck tunes-- Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osbourne- knows more words than I

Kevin, BestBuy will have the 8GB on special 12/19 - 12/25. It also comes with a $40 gift card, (I am not sure if the gift card is deducted from the price or is for another purchase). Order it online & pick up @ store: in & out w/o dealing with the masses. Be sure to get a pack of screen protectors & maybe a rubberized cover.

Amazon has the 32GB for $270 + $25 gift card, free shipping, etc.

I have no experience with purchases from Amazon, but have had good luck with ordering online with BestBuy & picking up in store.

Same goes for OverStock.com. They will deduct return shipping & a re-stocking fee from the purchase price + not a soul in the customer service department speaks English.

I guess I've been lucky & had no issues with BestBuy.

Also, be careful with pirate stuff, I know from experience. I tried to save a buck and ended up spending $75 to get my computer back straight.

ditto. this happened a few times with me until it sunk in. now i just buy stuff straight from itunes. cuberunner is a free, entertaining game app for a few hours.
