Latest Update from Grenada:
The island is totally destroyed. Gunfire and deaths have occurred during the riots and the school is pretty much destroyed. They finally got the generator running on Friday, the only power on the island. As far as the students, the girl got out on 1 of 8 chartered flights Saturday night. So now she is in Trinidad waiting on a commercial flight back home. Hopefully that will come today or tomorrow. I will keep you posted when I know more. Thanks for the prayers! Bush

What's she gonna do now that the school is destroyed, transfer? Just curious as to how they're going to handle this problem.

Well, as of right now, I do not know. The talk is to take an incomplete for the rest of the semester. Or the other option is to go back Oct. 1 and continue. That is IF the school is ready. Looking at the pics from campus, I would guess not. Hopefully will get a chance to talk to her today/tomorrow whenever she gets home and will give an update. My nerves are shot and havent been up to par since last week. Will hopefully feel better when she gets here. Again, thanks for the prayers and concerns and I will keep you posted. Sounds like she was fortunate to get out unhurt. Helluva experience. Plenty of time for school.
