If you go to their website it specifically tells you that any egg you order on line is either A) counterfiet and/or B) has no mfg warrenty.

They will only honor BGEs bought from local dealers.

    Authorized Dealers & Internet Policy:
There are no authorized internet retailers for Big Green Egg products. Purchasing and shipping any Big Green Egg product from an internet source will void the warranty associated with that product

cooked ribs for the wifey's birthday over the weekend. got is set and going and went to the farm for a couple of hours. came back and temp was still holding steady at 225.

opened the vents and got it going a bit higher and seared em and then slathered with sauce and closed all the vents. total cook time was probably 4 hours.

    falling off the bone/messy/glazed sauce/yummy
Did the wife turn 21 this weekend? Tell here happy bday fer me.

tried a "brick oven" pizza last night. It turned out great on the top, but a little too much heat on the bottom. Any of yall tried that before, and if so did you put some kind of heat deflector under the pizza stone?
