    Interesting
I'm like a duck: calm above the water, and paddling like hell underneath....

This is possible in any river that drains into the ocean.

Flounder and spottails both travel well up into brackish water.
Be proactive about improving public waterfowl habitat in South Carolina. It's not going to happen by itself, and our help is needed. We have the potential to winter thousands of waterfowl on public grounds if we fight for it.

We were shooting fish one night and saw a very much alive blue crab in the santee river about 3 miles below the dam on a sand bar. We were camping in Black Oak.

PBiz that thing you saw may have been a hogchoker fish. I saw one in the Edisto about a year ago, and thought it was a flounder.

This is the sandbar below 52.. May have been a hogcockfish, but looked like a tiny flounder, per internet..
