    Yeah I think I would have about passed out after shooting that one too. How's he gonna kill the third biggest typical buck ever recorded in SC, and then turn around and kill a 190" in Iowa two months later? That's gonna be a tuff season to top right there.

    This is kinda funny.

    This cat got kicked out of the hunting club I was in last year....Christian Brothers in Edgefield SC.


    He sent out a text message to everyone with a deer that was this caliber and said he killed it in Edgefield.


    Well only problem was there was some other members down there that day and his lie came to the surface.

    I never heard if he was kicked out for lying or if there was more to the story.


    I have heard other rumors but I dont know that they are true......the part I just typed I KNOW is true......I had it on my cell phone.

    Theres something fishy here boys, I just aint 100% what it is........but why would you want to send pics to other club members claiming you killed it on club land, only to get caught in a lie and then change the whole story??

    Great deer either way I reckon

    Yep, I just dont understand. Its a hell of a deer any way you look at it, regardless of where it was killed or whether it was a bow rifle or rock.

    Got this off another site. This is supposed to be one of the other deer mentioned in the article that would also make the record books. Story has it that the brow tine was broken and fixed therefore its cannot be scored for the books but it scores around 174".

    I dont care if it was in high beams or not.. Multiple 170" deer in SC taken by the same person, in the same year or two is always kinda sketchy..
