Just in case anyone needed yet another option for the AR.
Anyone surprised? Not me.
Good folks.
If it ain\'t accurate at long distance, then the fact that it is flat shooting is meaningless.
Any thing kenny and jay put their hands on dealing w/ a gun always turns out good. I personally own two of the bolt actions guess i'll start saving for an AR
groan . . . cost of my next gun just went up $1600.
Another bandwagon jumped on.

I'm sure it will be extraordinary. He doesn't release anything that isn't.
I want an accurate longer-range AR, but I'll go through other FAR less pricey channels to get it.

Swampy, what kind of accuracy do you think you could get with a $2000 build on an AR/.223?

I'm getting 5 shot 3/4" 100yd groups using a bipod out of my $900 RRA Predator Pursuit setup. I'm confident it will do .5" 5 shot groups at 100yds locked down in a rest.
I like the idea of that flashlight at the link. (scroll down)
The Elites don't fear the tall nails, government possesses both the will and the means to crush those folks. What the Elites do fear (or should fear) are the quiet men and women, with low profiles, hard hearts, long memories, and detailed target folders for action as they choose.
"I here repeat, & would willingly proclaim, my unmitigated hatred to Yankee rule—to all political, social and business connections with Yankees, & to the perfidious, malignant, & vile Yankee race."
Too many variables at work to even guess.
But, personally, if I could reliably get 1/2" or better out of a gun like an AR-15, I'd be ecstatic. A LOT comes into play - and you need to have an idea how far you want to shoot it and at what.
a .5 to .75 MOA gun would be a keeper. Some will do better. And some will do it for FAR less than $2K.
I'm going to do something along the lines of having White Oak customize one of their varmint uppers (reasonable base price of $595 with a 20" barrel...) a little and drop on my DPMS lower. May need some upper-lower fitting, but I can get that done locally.
Some good furniture and a decent scope, and I bet it will shoot .75" or much better with a GOOD HANDLOAD.

i get 1.5 out of a stock armalite ar-10 with fatory rem. ammo. i am curious what my stag ar-15 would do. i have never put a scope on the 15. it still has the carry handle on it. next time i spend a day at the range i will swap some stuff around just for poops and grins.
