    Default transducers

    does anyone know if the humminbird transducers that come with the unit is a shoot thru hull or do you have to buy the shoot thru hull model.

    The transducer that came with my unit will work either way, providing the boat is fiberglass. None of them work very well, or at all, going through aluminum.

    thanks the boat is fiberglass, the specs said it would but the woman with humminbird was determing that it wasnt going to work that i had to trade it in, i know that i will lose my temp but i have a in dash temp gauge so that doesnt really matter.
