the few times i have limed a pond, they were small. 2 pieces of ply board across the boat to make a platform. we dumped the lime on the plywood, then shoveled like hell while someone ran the trollin motor. stayed with the wind at our backs.

I'd try and mix it with water and then spray it out. Don't how you would go about it though, just thinking outside da box.

Rent one of those blowers that you use to shoot insulation up in your attic. Put all the lime you can in a boat and ride around shooting that shit where you want. repeat until all lime is in pond.

What you need is a hydroseeding machine, full of lime and water....

If you can back a spreader truck to the edge, it will throw the lime 30-40 feet out into pond. The wind will take care of mixing it.

It is really simple. You make an exception to the gas motor rule for the good of the pond. Now that you are over that hurdle. Get a pontoon boat, trash pump, and wash the damn lime in like you are supposed to and quit dicking around.

Make decent size donation to your local volunteer fire department, have them bring the pumper and a droptank fill drop tank with water mix with lime use the deck gun to spray it out into the pond, this will help to also aerate the pond, and the FD can use it as water supply drill. Everyone happy.

Any option that doens't have me driving my boat in a circle in that pond while drinking beer isn't up for consideration.
