    Default Custom aluminum boat builders in SC

    Who is the guy that builds those custom aluminum boats with the pad on the bottom? I know there are a couple people on here that own a boat built by that guy. How do yall like them? Pics?

    that would be him. can anyone tell me how they like the boat? I'm kicking around the thought of getting one built. Do they run good? Do they turn good? Would you run over a log with one?

    tough as nails IMO one of the fastest and toughest aluminum boats you can buy, i believe he has two already made over there for sale, one is with a steeing wheel and one for a tiller handle, give him a call he is good people.

    The bottom has a raised center section to allow more lift and less boat in the water, which creates less drag, which means you go faster.

    usually that pad means it don't turn worth a crap. Are these the ones you see in the river racing that are bare alluminum?

    they turn fine, but then again if your running close to 60 mph in a tiller handle john boat a turn could mean medical bills

    there hunting/ fishing boats that just get you there quicker than anyone else.

    but he can build it however u want so far as storage ect.. my personal favorite is how he builds the gas tank into the transom!

    I have a custom aluminum boat built right here in Charleston but the guy does not build them for profit yet......big yet.
