    ffr,

Are you corning anywhere besides your trap sites? If you are, stop. You're working against yourself.

Also, if you really want them to just go away, turn your feeders off, etc, for a few months. They'll move on to your neighbor's corning operation.

OOOH, that would make me want to kill some pigs for sure. Good luck.

I don't know, except that some people don't see hogs as game. Merely a nuisence that roots up thier fields and also destroys habitat used by deer and other game. Some farmers see deer as a major nusience as well. Don't think I would use the method, but some do.

You could call me and me and my buddy will take care of them shortly. Dogs will run them on to the neighbors property for a month. They will be back.

Here's a little video on the best way. I use a bow ,which is the 2nd best way.

I've heard that you could... duct tape a red lens mini-mag light to your stablizer and run a pressure switch to your bow grip. If one was to do such a thing, I would imagine that you could mostly like figure out with a trail camera what time they are normally coming in and then be able to capitalize on it. So I've heard

I damn sure wouldn't be sitting around idlely while my trees were getting destroyed. Fuck that.

If they are destroying your property, call and get a dep permit. Then you can hunt them how and when you want legally. Hawglite, night vision, thermal image scope, AR15,Q-BEAM, or what ever you want to use.

no doubt hogs like used hydraulic fluid and motor oil....

BUT hogs like corn. dont make this any more difficult than it is. If you visit the property regularly, you should be able to trap them effectively with just plan corn.

corn inside the trap ONLY and leave the gate open. dont set the trap for at least ONE hit on the corn. once they get used to it, YOU WILL CATCH THEM THE VERY NEXT NIGHT by setting the trap and corning it up again. like someone said, dont put corn anywhere else nearby except maybe just outside the trap. make them want to go in there so bad they cant stand it...and then set the trap the next night and you;ll get em.
Ugh. Stupid people piss me off.

Dumping burnt oil or diesel fuel is illegal. If it's not your land, it might get you kicked off and if it is your land, you'd have to be nuts.

I've heard that corn left to ferment in a bucket will bring them like nothing else. A beer poured over the top helps get the fermenting started.

Nothing works like plain corn. There is no magic formula that will make a hog just run in and die, whether it's to a gun, bow,or trap.

The only reason to consider something like diesal fuel, is to deer proof it. Folks have to do it like that to be legal in the upstate where.............you are in violation of the deer baiting statue even if you throw corn(or any deer food) out 6 months before deer season. Corn soaked in diesal fuel is not considered deer food.

You want to dick around or really get rid of em??? If you really want rid of forget the sport hunting and trap em. Then get dep permits and kill em at night once they get trap shy.
