    Default Hog problems!!!!

Hogs moved in at the end of deer season and haven't left yet, in the process of setting traps. What are some things I can try too persuade them too come into trap? I thought they would have left bye now but they haven't. Neighbors have kill two but no more so it's trap time!!!

Delta in a nutshell: Breeding grounds + small wetlands + big blocks of grass cover + predator removal + nesting structures + enough money to do the job= plenty of ducks to keep everyone smiling!

Hunting is the least effective method. Trapping and dogging is the most effective.

Hunting is the most fun, however.

With in a few kills and a little pressure they will become nocturnal. Trapping has helped us alot. We just corn the traps up, and get them used to it. I've tried about everything including watermelons, but corn seems to work for me.

Get some day old doughnuts from Krispy Kreme or Dunkin. Ask if they've thrown any out in the dumpster recently. They go nuts for them. You might need to put some around with some corn, but once you hook em, it's a sure thing getting them in that trap. Those things are like crack to a hog.

Please explain why anyone would want to feed diesel fuel to an animal they might be eating... or someone will be eating if donated to the processor?

Sure doesn't seem to make much sense to me, but then I don't go around drinking diesel fuel either.
