    Default 04 4-stroke Yamaha

Just wanting to know what experiences you have had with the 4 stroke motors. Looking to buy a center console with a 04 Yamaha 150 on it. I said I would never buy a 4 stroke as long as I could get a 2 stroke, but this is to good of a deal to pass up. Anyone got any horror stories or not?
    Thanks for the info.

If it's a heavy boat don't expect to pull skiers or knee boarders or a tube.

What's your definition of a heavy boat?

??? have you ever seen one??

They are the best motors made today. The 150 four stroke has the best reputation of any motor in that class bar none. There are 150 4-strokes that have 4000 hours on them. They will outlast a two-stroke.

I have had three. Still have two, and they are bullet proof if you take care of it.

huh?...... how many boats out there are big enough to put a 150 on that weigh less than 1800lbs.....

and pulling the skier has more to do with getting the right pitch prop than anything....
