Tell me where you shoot ducks so i can come shoot um
Keep sitting until you see a deer. Then shoot it. No reason to shoot a fox unless you kill just to kill.
kill a fox
Lots of foxes, not many coyotes. They don't do well together, the foxes can't compete with them. So, if you see lots of foxes, and don't like mice and rodents, you should be happy.

yeah i dont kill just to kill, but i was just wondering if they would cause a problem

besides eating turkey eggs and quail...............
Well, kill them if you want. Changed ag practices and coyotes have affected the quail a whole lot more than native foxes...They've always been here, and I don't kill them.
That's my opinion as well. Foxes (and bobcats) are native to this environment. While I am sure they DO eat some quail and turkey eggs, they have been doing that since before any human set foot on this continent. I don't begrudge them their meals... the ONLY time I might feel different would be if I was doing heavy quail management.
As stated, coyotes and foxes don't get along well around here. I heard that coyotes kill coyotes regularly.
I find them fun to watch. In my youth, I killed two - one I called up with a predator call, botched the shot - never will shoot another one unless it's acting rabid.

Everything eats Turkey and Quail eggs, including rodents, snakes, opossums, raccoons, etc. Bush hogs probably kill just as many in early spring and summer. It's an easy excuse to blame a fox or other predator for everything. It's a lot easier to blame them than to got out and manage and improve habitat.

Sat on stand many a time and seen foxes come thru and deer a little later- never really seemed to bother the deer. Majestic animals- especially the red foxes- really enjoy seeing them.

I used to shoot them in my younger days, but don't anymore. I will, however, kill a bobcat, if they're in season. I do this because they kill too many rabbits.
better look at your dates before poppin foxes from the deer stand....
yeah i not planning on killing any of them i like watching them, but didnt no if they affected the deer or not. i do kill stuff to just kill like snakes you no the poisoness ones
