I've heard good things about Macks Breathables. Those Lacrosse's look pretty good, and they have a good price too.

I wore a pair of Cabelas Breathables the entire week in AK last year. Never once got cold in them. Wearing the proper liner pants and those waders is the best damn thing I've ever done b/c I'll NEVER own another pair of neoprene.

Will they hold up for a whole season?

i am holding them right now. the lower part below the knees looks tough. the "feel" of the fabric is a bit different...its soft...and cuddly.

but the fanny pack thing is bad ass. too bad i cant imagine having that thing strapped to my front all day but it might be cool in and of itself.

now back to fondling the fabric....

I'm a little disturbed at how excited you seem to be about a fanny pack.....

Been hunting in breathables for about 6 years now! Won't ever go back to neoprene!! The LaCrosse are good, they will hold up for several seasons. My brother has a pair and they lasted for several years, until he left them some where and the sun rotted out hte rubber in the boots.

its MORE than just a fanny pack. its made to clip on the front of the waders. comes with neat little pockets and zippers and such. even has a place for my cell phone...and if you hunt with me, you know how much i love cell phones.

(note: cell phones are NOT allowed near me when hunting.)

cute.... you know I'm just giving you a hard time, right?

but your defense of the fanny pack has me even more disturbed....

Looks like nice waders. I've only had one pair of lacrosse and they held up pretty good. Their snake boot weren't worth a shit, but but the waders were good to go. Hell of a price.

I bought the same waders last year and love them. No more neoprenes for me.

I really gotta have a new pair, never used the breathables. We are going to OK this season and it can get cold, will they freeze me? I normally wear a pair of thermals and blue jeans under my neos and never get cold.
