Whats your favorite rifle round for SC Deer?

I chose "Other" since the 7mm listed in the poll might mean 7mm Rem Mag and I'm using the 7mm-08, which I think is a perfect SC Whitetail round.

I've shot a dirty naught six since I was 14. Every deer I've ever killed with a rifle has been killed with that caliber.

That being said, I am currently dialing in a 25/06 that I just bought and so far it's makin' my weener move a little. Very accurate little gun.

I voted dirty naught only because I've yet to draw blood with the 25/06.

Take a buddy out shooting with ya and let the load the rifle for ya, one round at a time. Tell 'em to mix in an empty chamber on your ass ever so often...pretty soon you'll get tired of looking like a damn vagina and the flinches will go away. Unless, of course, you ARE a vagina in which case God only knows what might happen. Try it. It works.

Yeah - thats some good fun right there and it really does make you a better shot.

I like .270 (.270 WSM right now). I also would like to get an old Belgium made Browning BAR in the naughty oughty here in the not too distant future. Would make a fine "field gun" for doe slayin. 5 come out, none make it to the woodline.
