    Default Flyway Foundation Gets Kudos

    A friend of mine, Daniel D. Lamoreux, from Jackson Wyoming is an outdoor writer and photographer. He is published in a lot of the major outdoor magazines and has been hired in house by conservation orgs like DU, NWTF, etc to write for their mags.

    He and I have occasionally talked about the FF and he's been impressed since day one. He sees the inside workings of a lot of conservation groups due to his research for articles, so for him to be truly impressed means a lot. This morning I sent him the Flyway Foundation video and he wrote an article of accolades on his site.

    I didn't ask him to do the article, that was of his own accord. He wrote it after I sent the video to him and then informed me of the link. He writes some good articles for his site, he's of like mind with us, a conservative conservationist.

    Very good. Much satisfaction out of knowing the birds are using these houses. National recognition makes it that much better. Hopefully some other groups will get motivated and put some effort into helping the ducks.

    Hmmm..2th or somone else can correct me if I am wrong. I think the reason we are placeing these hen houses in the great lakes region is because those birds patterns come to our area, giving us more ducks.So infact we are seeing those ducks.

    Yes, that is the reason we focus on that area, but not all those birds come here, we still improve our chances though.

    Do they band just some or the majority of the birds that use our houses?

    Would be pretty dang cool to take a bird that has one of those bands on.
