    O goodness........I watched the Discovery on them things and they are destructive as all get out and breed like crazy if I'm not mistaken........that sucks seriously........

    Yea the movies were actualy pretty funny........almost like watching one of the old "Critters" Movie's.........coming out from under cars and taking people out and such.......no matter how hard those people ran those fish would always catch up........lol.....on a serious note those fish arent cool for the native's........

    Wylie wont ever get rid of the problem...

    Isnt this like the third time in as many years I have read about snakeheads in Wylie?

    one was caught in the catawba south of wylie a few years ago and in 07' some guy claimed to have caught one and threw it back thinking it was a bowfin

    don't know if they did or not I've read that they run too deep to be electro-fished but you know how heresay is

    Yea BB they have been reported several years now, don't know about the shockin though. Have not heard anything on it.

    Problem with them being in Wyile is they will be every where else downstream before long too! Sucks

    I can't imagine the genious that dumped these things out, or the Lionfish for that matter, but they should be jailed if caught.

    Ironically, lot of folks are up in arms in California right now over a proposed new law to prohibit the importation of exotic animal, which might include hamsters, snakes, iguanas, tropical fish, etc. Pet stores are lobbying to kill the bill. It's a knee jerk bill that was inspired by the chimp attack that was in the news.

    I'm sort of a hypocrite because I've had all sorts of pets but it's hard not to admit that it's a bad idea to import critters that could become pests or even catastrophic to the indigenous animals.
