heard most bugbusters run in the mid 40's with a 40 and 1503's in the low - mid 40's. I bet a 16 with a 90 would bump 60 maybe more

all my high tide boats must have been defective. i had a bugbuster/40, 1503/40, 1503/50, 1503/60 and my buddy has a 16ft/90. all yamaha, all 2 strokes.

1602 w/90 yam. 48mph gps, should have broke fitty but I got a set of lenco tabs and dropped a pitch on the prop to get better all around performance. When it gets on the pad it gets loose quick in anything other than flat water. Will run it like this for a while and eventualy throw a debit card at hydro-tech.

Pretty much the same as wdhigh...90 yam. 2 stroke on 16 HT, got it up to 46 by myself going with the current the other day. No tabs, and a lot of extra weight added. I'd love to know what the above person did that is getting mid 50's out of the same boat if everything's stock.

No Salty, my 115 is in the low 50's.

Full load, 47mph and some change. That was trimmed out as loose as I could stand it.

i've got past the speed stage, if i wanted something fast, i'd get a strip boat or a light hull fastcraft, if my new 1503 will break 40 i'll be tickled pink. I got the High tide for the ride quality not the speed.
