I will be more than happy to take one if it outperforms my SBE1- which has had "0" problems, besides pinching the shit out of my finger a few times and about 3 shell jams in 5-6 years

Form follows function, so I hope that the new Benelli has something to offer, because it looks like a pregnant Guppy.
That was the message i was going for, and you couldn't be more correct about who cares how fast their guns go bang.

I'm not going to knock it's looks but I don't see what's so revolutionary about it. Everyone claims to have the "softest shooting, most reliable shotgun in the world" and that is all this seems to be, other than the fact that it can break down. I was expecting more. Regardless, I'd like to hear how it performs. Anyone know when the Maxus comes out? - Also supposedly "the world's softest shooting, most reliable shotgun in the World."

Well, I just watched the video. Yeah, it looks different, but it's construction/engineering is SWEET. I need another shotgun like a need a hole in the head, but...depending on the price, and spare change...I MIGHT just have to get one of these before the end of the year.

MSRP $1379 according to benelli site which is less than MSRP of SBEII of $1649. These are both black synthetic. It looks good by no means but maybe it functions well. MSRP of the M2 is $ 1319, so compared to their other guns it isn't one of the higher priced guns.

I paid about 1300 for my camo SBE1 when they first came out- nothing wrong with that price

I sure ain't buyin' this one - don't need it.

I paid $1050 for Roxanne, my 1st SBE back in 92. She is still my bootie call. She is classified as a WMD and a meat cleaver. My thumb has bled GALLIONS(not gallons) of blood. She is not the softest shooting shotgun in the world. BUT...If I had a penny for every time she has spanked that butt, I would have more pennies than Trad has grey hair. I could not use my own head as an example because I don't have enough hair to use as an analogy.

Wouldn't mine shooting a new one for giggles though.

The ducks don't give a rat's ass what your gun looks like. They would probably prefer a white finish unless you hunt in the snow.
