    Default Getting a little pissed

    As just my luck would have it, there has been a decent flock of turks hanging around the house for the last week or two. But as my luck would have it there are 16 turks, 12 hens and four jakes. Then on top of that shit I have to sit here and read how the low country boys are smoking some ass.

    I'm really beginning to develop some serious pyschological issues such as anger,depression, obsessional thinking and violent thoughts regarding turkeys and turkey hunters in the lowcountry. Anyone KnOw of a GoOD sHrINk???

    I feel your pain. I saw 5 gobblers Sunday in a field I have permission to hunt. They just stood there and looked at me, mocking me in a way. With any luck, I'll knock a few of them in the head in two weeks. I do get to go on a hunt Wed. though. That will either make it better or worse....most likely worse.

    Lab - ifin it makes you feel any better I spent most of the nite of Sat the 14th in the ER with iv's hanging out of my arm and all of opening day in the fuggin' bed doin' nothin' cuz I felt like chit. Are you happy now? All of them murderous thoughts you had about us lowcountry hunters came true (at least on me they did).

    Payback is hell you mofo. I hope you wake up about 0500 on 4-1 and find that all of the hairs on your ass have turned into fishhooks.

    BB, I've got to have some excuses to save my sanity. I'll not survive another year like last year. I got spoiled hunting private land the last decade, just too damn easy. When we move I dropped out of the club. I'm having to go back to my roots on hunting public and this year I'm ready for the bastards!

    not to hijack, but due to a side effect of hiatal hernia corrective surgery 8 years ago, I can't vomit, no matter how hard I try, so if I get food poisoning or a stomach virus I gots to go to the ER for a shot of phinagran(?) and some badass pain meds & I'm all good in a day or so- call me a pussy but that's just the way it is.

    Lab, I got about 10 lbs of puddin' in the freezer. Next time I travel towrd cola or you come to toward HH/Sav you can have a few packs.

    Hell yeah, we use my great grandaddy's recipe, it makes 15 lbs, we usually double it - I was weaned on that shit. I can get it from my old man and post if yall are interested.

    My uncle cooked his in an old cast iron wash pot in the yard. Damn...I just ate and I am getting hongry again.

    He passed afore I had the sense to try and capture his recipe instead of just reaping the fruits of his labours.

    I would greatly appreciate a recipe...
