    What new GEAR did you get for the season?

    I got one box call from Steve Mann, a spare face mask and ..........

    i had to buy all new mouth calls this year. i got strep throat at the end of the season last year and keept on hunting so i threw all them away didnt want to take any chances. that sucked it was hard to call with strep throat

    i dont think strep bacteria can live for a year on a mouth call....

    i got nothing. I need nothing. I did make some wooden arrows I hope to shoot at a bird, though.

    I'm having to get all new stuff. This is my first year really trying this out so I'm getting all the basics for now. I've spent some time in the woods with our hunting class trying to learn all I can. Planning on making 2 scouting trips this weekend (one on private and maybe one on public).

    We spent about 2 hours on Tuesday patterning guns with various types of ammo and chokes that our class provided. Learned a ton. Best thing out of my Browning silver was with the factory full choke and #6, 3", Hevi shot. Gonna cost a little more but I won't need an after market choke.

    I'm still debating on what type of decoy and vest but I've got everything else I'm going to start with. May expand later on but basics first I guess.
